Field of intervention

Prior to defining the fields of intervention of the Institut technologique de maintenance industrielle (ITMI), it is essential to clarify the purpose of maintenance. Initially, it involves production assets efficiency optimization including equipment availability and costs conditioning. However, in line with new industrial trends and evolving environment, other concerns are now addressed within maintenance activities such as sustaibable development issues: environmental protection, energy efficiency, product quality and customer service. Maintenance tasks are of different types and range from simple corrective maintenance strategies to complex predictive and condition monitoring strategies.
